Chapter 57

Emily

As soon as I finish speaking I break down but Emma quickly pulls me into her chest and gently rubs my back.

“I’m so proud of you Emily.” She whispers in my ear and I hold on to them words and try with all I have to ignore the growls that are coming from the twins. This is it now, they will end it.

“Emily… Emily, please look at us.” Logan sounds like he’s pleading with me and I’ll be honest, it was the last thing I was expecting and I start to doubt that I’m even hearing them right.

Emma slowly pulls away from me but holds on to my hand while I look down at my lap and I freeze. I can’t look up nor can I look at them because the moment I do I know it’s all over. My first mate rejected me and once the twins reject me it will be the end of me ever having a mate and as much as I’m glad that my first mate rejected me and as much as I don’t blame the twins for doing it, it still hurts. All I’ve ever wanted is to find my mate and have a family and now I
