The next day, Shourya dropped me at the office. Mom and dad understood that I was going on a mission, and they had no objections. Sometimes I feel I am fortunate to have such a supportive and understanding family. I firmly believe that the success of any person depends on the support lent by their family. I went to the hospital, disguising myself as an illiterate villager wearing a tribal dress who was suffering from typhoid. I had my tricks to increase the body temperature, not get caught through the thermometer. I went to the cabin of a general physician who was on duty at the hospital.
“Wait girl, you can’t go directly inside the cabin,” the attendee stopped me.
“I took this outpatient chit from reception,” I said groaning.
“That’s not enough to meet the doctor. You need to give something to me,” he said, and I gave a tight slap to him.
