Chapter 187. Gylen

The two bodies disappear into thin air, presumably destroyed by the magic of the sword. Another monster rushes towards the boy. It lunges at him while yelling, but the boy easily dodges the attack by sliding across the grass and jumping to the opposite side of the clearing.

He tries to fight as many of them as possible before they finally get tired of their efforts and turn around to go search for other prey. When they begin walking away, a sudden burst of wind catches all of them in a tight hold. As Gylen struggles to free himself, the creature releases them from the force of the wind and starts charging at him once again.

He tries to fight against the wind by stabbing it with his sword, but all he succeeds in doing is making it stronger and stronger. The creature keeps rushing toward him until he trips over a small patch of dirt and crashes on his back.
