Chapter 117. Consolation Gift

I removed the sign ‘Do Not Disturb’ from my front door at 5 pm. For the entire afternoon, I read the documents sent to me by Attorney Lopez. It took me an hour to read each and every word. To keep it simple and short, the last will only comprises of my name. My name for everything.

Dad has left me everything: his estates, the company, the mansion, the main house, the cars and everything in his possession. I also called Atty. Lopez for clarifications. He said this will has been amended years ago, upon the death of Magdalene. The next amendment vas when they already found me and my name was filled in to the document.

And then that’s it. Jakob Dionzon has given me everything under his name.

Overwhelming? Yes. I still do not know how to thank him when it’s too late. I don’t know if I can do this without him too. Since his funeral, I haven’t been to the main house yet. I don’t want to be in an empty house filled with his memories.
