Chapter 133. Purely Business

After some more legal terms exchanged between Atty. Lopez and Seth, the five of us were served coffee by Nicho. When he served me, he gave me a wink. I can’t wait to tell him everything later.
Ashlene saw the wink, and then she frowned. She knows Nicho and I were friends. Perhaps she only realized that now. She must not have noticed that before.
Atty. Lopez then skipped the middle papers in the document and went to the last pages. He pulled something out from the inner pocket of his suit. It’s a ballpen.
“I guess the offer is complete. You have the final say to complete this deal, sir,” the lawyer said and handed me a pen.
I received it and looked at the people on the other side of the table. With my signature, they’re going to lose a huge chunk of their inheritance.
