Chapter 135. Tip of the Iceberg

The drive back to the office was slow due to the traffic. The car can’t move properly and it’s getting on my nerves. I need to get back to the office to deal with more work since I only left some to meet with Seth Ridley.
I pressed the honk a little too long when the traffic light changed to green, and yet, the person in front of me hasn’t moved a muscle. I honked again, and this time, the car had moved.
He shouted something to me when he opened the window. I didn’t really determine what that was but I didn’t care. All I could think about as of the moment is the fact that I want to be in the office. I want to be surrounded by busy people. That way, I can forget what’s happened.
The folder was placed on the passenger’s seat. I secured it with a seat belt too. To know that inside that folder is the tie that connects me now to the Ridleys, it’s important to keep it secure.
