Chapter 150. Old Friends, Old Teas
DYLAN
Ten minutes later, I was notified that a new car pulled up.
I left Nicho for a minute and attended to my second guest. Miggy was standing outside the front door with a huge rectangular box of pizza on his hands. He was grinning, and unlike before, he looked healthier. His hair has gotten thicker and because of the growing mustache on his face, he looked more mature.
“You made it, man. Come, Nicho and I opened our first bottle already.”
“He’s already here?” he inquired, and I nodded.
“That’s a new thing, huh? Nicho not being the last one to arrive.”
I chuckled. Yeah, I remember the times. Usually, the office will be manned by me and him. Nicho would be calling to ask if the Ridley lawyers already arrived because he just woke up or was stuck in traffic or something.
“Some things change, Migs,” I said and chuckled.
When the boys saw each other, they stood up and met halfway for a hug. It wasn’t an easy hug because of the pizza box.
