Chapter 172. Road Closed

Just as everyone expected, the rain poured… and with it came the fog. It has only been five minutes since we got in the car, but the rain has already ruined our chances of getting home safely.

As to my car, I used the windshield wipers to get rid of the droplets. It’s making it hard to navigate, to see what’s in front of me. I cannot also see Ashlene’s car properly.

Because of that, I decided to call the drivers and told them to go slow. This is the part where the signs ‘Drive Carefully. Accident-Prone Area’ has stirred worry in each of us. Especially to me. But my worry doesn’t concern me. It only concerns Ashlene.

“It’s too hard to drive, isn’t it?” I said as soon as she took the call.
