Chapter 13. Deception

Facing the evident horror on Mariana's face, I agreed with her wish, and we decided that the best thing to be done was to leave the club.

We had already had a good time and as I feared that the Murilo who was with the famous actress was the same one with whom I had spent a wonderful night, I thought it best that we should leave.

"I'll just tell Luan that we're leaving," Mariana said. "He's on the other side of the hall. Will you come with me?”

"I need to go to the bathroom. Do you mind going alone?" I asked fearfully, but I needed to go.

"No, no problem" Mariana agreed and seemed calmer. "Meet me at the bar?”

I confirmed, understanding that she didn't want to continue there, in the VIP area, for whatever reason.
