I left Enrico's room with firm steps, my heart pounding uncontrollably in my chest, an overwhelming feeling of betrayal consuming me. I had been deceived cruelly, and the only person to blame was Enrico, no one else.

He led me to that damn hotel suite and spent the night with me. If I hadn't succumbed to the temptation of alcohol, none of this would have happened, and my life wouldn't have been so shattered since that fateful night. The drink was my weakness, not his beauty, not even the sensations he aroused in me with just one look.

Upon entering my room, I sighed in relief to see that Lindsay had not yet returned from her evening program, which I found somewhat strange but didn't pay much attention to at that moment.
