Virginia had agreed to accompany me to the company event that would take place in the family mansion in Guarujá during the weekend and nothing could make me happier than knowing that she would be by my side during these days, even more so after what she had said that morning, during our breakfast, when I asked if she wanted to have lunch with me later.

"I'd rather not do anything with you today, as I have a very full day," She said, already making me worry about possible work overloads.

"You mustn't neglect your diet, honey," I said, carefully.

She was always very sensitive, and I didn't want to awaken the "beast" that I already knew very well.

"Don't worry, I'll feed myself properly.”

I looked at her curiously because I sensed that there was something strange in the air, and waited for her to tell me what was so special about that day that made her so busy.

"I understand that I need to use a heavy arsenal in the batt
