Chapter 48. No Hesitation

Matteo’s POV

I watched her move fluidly down the steps as she advanced towards me, her lips slightly parted and her smokey gray eyes shining brighter than I'd ever seen it.

It made me feel good that she had accepted my gifts which were specifically meant to appease her and atone for my unnerving and callous actions last night. I expected her eyes to be filled with judgements ready to be unleashed, but it was opposite. They were filled with understanding and emotions I didn't want to put a name to.

Words couldn't describe how beautiful she looked in the silky nude one shouldered dress that I'd ordered last night.

The slit at the middle of the dress exposed her bare toned and slender thighs that I felt like burying myself in between. My lower member twitched in agreement as I felt a bulge in my briefs, thankfully my undergarment was capable of keeping my physical expression of lust at bay.
