The doctor's words play over and over in my mind... It hurts, it moves me and at the same time, it breaks my heart. Barry's face is a poem, it reflects surprise and nothing more than that, his hands tremble slightly and for a moment I think he will end up fainting.
"Can you repeat that," Barry says with difficulty.
The doctor takes a deep breath before telling Barry the news one more time. "The baby is fine, the placenta protected him very well, and your baby is in perfect condition," he says, the baby is fine, he is still in my womb, "it is very important that after she leaves the hospital she is in total rest, not to make any kind of unnecessary effort, and your boy," he points to Barry and smiles at me, "you must give her all the love in the world, you must take care of her because that will depend on the future of your baby, you must take care of her as much as you can.
"Of course I do, doctor," he says, "I doubt very much that she will give me love
