Chapter 28. I'm Leaving

Zoe's POVI know it's not a coincidence that he came here because as soon as he walked in, I could see his eyes were searching for something. I just stood there with his gaze on me, and as our glances connected, I knew he was going to try to corrupt my character once more. I couldn't move any of my fingers or other parts of my body. Sweat condensed on my neck and brow till he approached in front of me.

“I didn't realize your new was my cousin. Look at the fate again,” he said with a smile, hoping no one would suspect him. I need someone to approach me since I won't be able to move if no one assists me. I'm sure he's caught the attention of a few folks.
