Chapter 67. Irrational

“Damn that woman!” I curse as I finish parking the damn yellow spicy rice and the cabbage mayo salad as I wait for the chicken curry to boil a bit.

This woman should thank her gods that I even went the extra mile and made her such a delicious dish. I should have just made some white rice and kale or just boiled some plain white-dried maize and poured a full tin of pepper in for her. She does not deserve this much effort from me.

Sometimes you cannot understand human beings. They always look at the negative side of a person and disregard everything on the positive side. Like in my case, these people are only worried that I am destroying a home that is not even there and breaking a marriage that was broken from day one. What about me saving this man from this woman? What about me saving the whole Adams family and fortune with this child that I am carrying? Is that not reason enough to blur any other stain on me?
