Chapter 76. Four Days Later

“You know I love your boldness, Lynn!” Liam’s mother speaks; we are preparing lunch. Liam is at work, but he just called to inform me that he was dropping me off for lunch and then going back to work.

“Life has taught me to be bold, Mrs. Adams. I would have lost this battle a long time ago if I wasn’t strong.” I respond.

“Keep the spirit, dear. I am glad that Liam will have a woman like you by his side all his life. And I am so sorry for not approving of you before. Please forgive me, dear. I robbed you and Liam of such a good and peaceful life.” She adds.

These past four days have been nothing but bliss. I am still at the top of the game with that bitch, Mitchell Edwards. She must be hissing in one of the corners of her room, crying her eyes out. Crying has become her signature thing.

And this woman. She has changed so much. She never leaves my side, especially if Liam is not around. Our relationship has taken a turn that I did not anticipate it would take.
