Chapter 356
The rain came down in a soft drizzle, turning the cobbled path into a shimmering mirror of silver light. Vathar stood there, soaked, staring at Eron as though trying to memorize every detail—his trembling lashes, the way his green robe clung to his form, and those luminous crystal blue eyes filled with confusion and hope.
“Vathar?” Eron whispered, stepping forward. It had been a little over a week since they met. He noticed that his lover had become thin, and haggard. “Why did you ask me to come here? What’s going on?”
Vathar swallowed and took a few steps back, not wanting to be close to Eron. Despite the distance, he could still smell the god's sweet smelling skin and the delicious fruity scent of his essence. It made his canines ache with the need to sink them into his flesh.
Then there was that hunger again, gnawing at the walls of his stomach. It had only been three hours but he felt like he would go crazy if he didn't eat something.
