“Oh, still sore about the past, are we?” the Earth Spirit teased. “That was long ago, Vathar. Why not let it go? Don't tell me that even after all these centuries, you can't handle the fact that I never loved you.”

“Shut up!” The Dark Lord roared, his composure breaking. “Let it go? You want me to let it go? To forget how you toyed with me? How you played with my feelings for eight whole years?”

Prince Ron poked his head from the side, clickling his tongue in disapproval. “Don’t forget how he beat you up and sealed you in the Underworld like some rabid dog.”

The Earth Spirit’s gaze immediately snapped to Prince Ron who slyly wiggled his brows and hid behind the Dark Lord once again. He wondered how Ron could know such things. Could it be that he got his memories and powers back? He shook his head. That was impossible. He made sure of it. There must be something else.
