Chapter 26. Curiosity

I went to the first place I could think of, the library and picked up the journal about Orion to pick up from where I left off. I turned a page and noticed a few words at the bottom. It looked like scrawled handwriting. Someone had written those words there. I squinted at it for a closer look and saw a date. M Capon June 6th 2017. I brought out my phone and took a picture to view later. 

My phone beeped with a message from Anna. 

We are going to get some food, are you interested? 

I thought about it for a while. I could eat. However, I did not trust myself to be around Isaac. Something about him triggered curious feelings I had no business with, not after what I had been through. 

Do not worry about me. You guys should go ahead. 

Are you sure? 

Absolutely. 

As I set my phone aside, I tried hard to ignore the little voice that told me I was a coward for running away from him.
