She had been enjoying a peaceful morning, though it has been nerve wracking to try and come up with a possible outcome of their meeting. She still enjoyed it but the sudden appearance of the guard brought her back to reality. 

Mary had completely forgotten that she had yet to figure out why the Queen asked for her release, she still doesn't know when she would be allowed to leave the palace, her thoughts were everywhere at that moment trying to come up with different possibilities.

"The Queen requires your presence."

"The Queen requires my presence?" Mary repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.

The guard nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, milady. Her Majesty requests your attendance in the throne room immediately."
