Chapter 60

George's POV 

"The Alpha king! The Alpha king!"

I sped past them. I couldn't understand what was going on. I'd been in the palace just like an hour ago and didn't see anyone. There was no sign on the road of any protest.

"Are these people lying?" I wondered inside of me.

I scoffed. "No, I don't think so," I assured myself. It wasn't possible to see a rumor make its way to the roadside TV. Only news that were confirmed to be true and had a hundred percent accuracy that were passed by the broadcasting corporation to be displayed here.

"Perhaps one day you could become the Alpha king and it would come true!" I watched as Mary gazed into my eyes, then her lips with a calm, optimistic smile. I started to recount what I'd achieved since she came into my life. If I had to become the Alpha king, then all thanks to her, it's because she made it possible. 

Without Mary, I'd still remain under the shadows of my brother, Prince Alex. I'd only be recognized
