Chapter 25. Am I Being Punished?

Despite his promise to punish Elvira, Lucas had no intention of doing so. After Elvira was exposed, Lucas had her stay put at home. As long as she was out of sight, he would be able to protect her without having to give Oliver an explanation. 

Elvira, Ashley, and Mandy were watching TV in Elvira's house. It's been days since they were told that Megan had gone missing. Elvira was very relieved. Now that Megan was gone, nobody would share Jake's attention and affection with her again. What she didn't understand though was why Jake's number wasn't going through and why her father refused to let her leave the house. She had called her friends over when she realized that she was under some sort of house arrest. And they have been playing house for two days now. 

Even though she found them stupid and boring most of the time, having them around was still better than being alone. Elvira was already used to pushing them around.
