Matt’s POV

I took a huge sigh of relief, seeing she wasn’t the one on the hospital bed. She was clearly surprised to see me.

“Matt, what are you doing here?”

“I went to the shelter to pick you up. Someone said something about you spending the night in the hospital and labor.”
