I shake my head vigorously, trying to dislodge the memory of that fateful day from my mind. So many lives were lost, so much pain and suffering was inflicted. Too many people are still counting on me, relying on my strength to make sure that doesn’t repeat itself.

Seeking a distraction from the thoughts swirling in my head, I decide to check on Mila. Perhaps her company will provide a much-needed respite.
