Chapter 5. Rebellious

Luciano's POV

“Why do you look so lost?”

Christian looked at me, making me snap out of my thoughts. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. How could I tell him that Adeline had been on my mind since that fucking night?

I looked at him, not believing myself that I was mind fucking my best friend’s daughter, who’s my own niece’s age, even a year younger.

Fuck me.

I rubbed my hand over my face as Christian now sat up, his full attention on me.

“Adeline”

As soon as her name escaped my lips, I could feel my pants tightening, making me gulp the lump formed in my throat. She was intoxicating me, and just her name got me so hard. I could still feel her warm, soft skin against my rough hands.

Christian’s words made me look at him, and they were true. My thoughts for Adeline were getting out of control.

Christian widened his eyes in horror as I watched him look at me in disbelief.

I raised my voice, and he shook his hand, running his fingers through his hair, making me close my eyes.

“You can’t fucking have thoughts about her”

Christian spoke, making me stare at the ceiling.

“I am not-”

“You are. You were never lost in thoughts like that. You had everything in control till now”

Somewhere I knew, it was the truth. Adeline had messed up my mind, and it was the first time I was... baffled. I could not understand what was happening to me, but I was also aware that it was wrong.

“Sort it out. Make it clear that no one should find out”

“There’s nothing to sort out. We don’t have feelings, and it was just… heat of the moment-”

“You both were not drunk. You both were sober, and she did not stop you, so it means something. Make it clear to her before things get out of hand”

As soon as Christian said those words, my heart dropped. Somewhere, I did not like those words at all, but I knew it was right and important.

Soon, Christian left my office, and I was left with my thoughts. I finally made up my mind and walked out of the room towards … Adeline’s room.

I knocked on the door and heard her voice, but what she said wasn’t clear, so I just asked her to open it.

“open”

She opened the door, and I was left... stunned. My eyes fell on her messed-up state.

Her long hairs were disheveled, her nose red, and her cheeks flushed. My eyes traveled to her chest and found her in a black bra, and I couldn’t help but look at her boobs.

I stared at her, calling me something she did not mean, or maybe she did. Soon, my eyes went to her hand and to the empty bottle of alcohol.

“Adeline-”
