“Listen, Robin… I have to get married. My family is really after me. My mom and dadi wanted to end their lives. I can’t afford to lose them.”

“No… You can’t marry. I wouldn’t allow that.”

“I am not even asking your permission, I need to get married to a nice decent girl and I would. It’s better that you find someone else.”

“I don’t want anyone else, I want you… You are my Jaan. I can’t even imagine my life without you. I would never let you marry a girl.”

“Why?”

“Because if you marry a girl, she will try to bind you to herself. She would claim her rights on you and everything you own. Your family would want you to produce heirs for their family. They would claim their rights on you and your property.”
