Mohit’s POV

I imagined Srusti standing there with one of Manu’s daughters.

What was that? Was it my imagination?

Maybe I was missing her so much… But she looked very real.

Was she really my Srusti?

What was happening? I was literally rooted to the floor.

Manu turned to look at them. “Hey Srusti! Come, meet my friend, Mohit.”

What?

She was here? In my office?

Oh God! This was not my imagination. I was still too shocked to react.

The child was clapping and jumping and all of a sudden she tried to jump out of Srusti’s arms.

Manu ran towards her in alarm.

Srusti caught the child in time but lost her balance and was about to fall when someone held her in his arms.

I don’t know whether I was relieved or tense to see that.

I saw that Sahil was holding her tightly.

What the hell? Sahil? I just wanted to get her out of his arms.
