“Why do you have to talk business on your birthday? My husband is merciless.” 

Leonardo’s head fell back in laughter, and I caught a whiff of his cologne. He smelled like the sea with a hint of spice.

“It was the perfect opportunity. Our schedules are often too tight to fix a meeting." His eyes narrowed now, scanning my face.

I was dying to ask him what this meeting had been about, but I had to contain my curiosity. It would be foolish to appear suspicious when I was finally close to the first person who would mention the Rosetta, something I doubted half the board knew about.
