Chapter 21. I Mean Nothing To You

I was still facing the window when I heard her walk out of the bathroom with hesitant steps.

“Leave, Sony.” I said, giving her one last chance to stay out of this.

But when I turned around, she still stood there. 

What was I thinking? The woman was stubborn as hell.

“What was that about?”

“Exactly what you heard.” I said, staring at her silver dress. 

Even now, her nipples were pointy beneath the dress.

It could’ve been a result of the adrenaline from the last half hour. But I knew Olivia better than that.

“You will not tell me what it’s about?”

“No,” I said, pawing noiselessly across the polished wood floors till I was standing directly in front of her.

“Why did you marry my brother?” I asked, staring in her violet eyes.

She rolled them at me now, and tried to take a step back.
