Chapter 215. Getting Hurt

Two murder attempts and three tumultuous weeks later, the first happy event in my life was happening. 

It was the celebratory dinner after the Quivers and Omnexa merger. In more ways than one, I now legally owned half the company regardless of whether Dean left or not.

But he was going to leave. 

He was a shell of himself at this point, I made sure of that.

But despite these victories, I was the unhappiest I had been since the wedding. Most of my unhappiness came from Colt, which was a shock seeing how he was the person I loved the most in this world.

He moved back into the Fletcher mansion, and stuck by my side every second. He intercepted the two murder attempts from random men who were after the hundred million dollar bounty.
