“Warm enough?” Colt leaned in to adjust my neck scarf, “You should have worn the leather jacket.” And even as he spoke, his breath clouded in the air, like he was exhaling cigar smoke.
It was the eve of Christmas, the coldest day so far this winter, and in the past I would have hated it, missing home, the snowless Silicon Valley with perfect temperature all year round.
