“Elora can send the suitcases on the next flight,” I added, and Chris gave a nod before jogging off to his car behind.
“Sonsy. You’re quiet.” I turned to Olivia as Chris' SUV sped past us to arrange the jet before we arrived.
“When will it end?” She responded, staring at the demarcation glass sightlessly. “I feel like a walking target. If I couldn’t even be safe in a country where no one is supposed to know me, how am I supposed to survive a day in Silicon Valley?”
