Eve walked towards the car that was parked in front of the hotel lobby. From a distance she saw Allan open the glass of his car which was at the back.

Allan smiled very friendly, as if nothing had happened to them last night. Eve froze in place, forgetting one fact about Allan that it was very easy for him to find out where she was staying.

Eve regretted declining Damian's offer to spend the night at his apartment yesterday, worried about Eve's condition who was still in a bit of shock last night from seeing Allan at the party and especially because it turned out that Allan Watson owned the project where she worked. If she had been at Damian's last night, Allan wouldn't be able to see her right now. Eve feels that now even persisting in pretending to be Damian's wife will be futile, because she clearly left the hotel without Damian's company.
