Chapter 52. Eve's Plan

Eve came home extremely tired, she arrived at the mansion almost midnight. Today she was asked to work overtime by Damian the Boss. Because it turned out that their Cafe was rented by one of the companies to hold a meeting at night. Actually, the meeting had finished at 8.00pm, but Eve had to help clean up and only returned home at 9.00pm.

Eve deliberately took overtime so that she could avoid and forget her heartache towards Allan. She hopes that by not seeing Allan tonight, she can get her heart back in order. Eve has decided that she will not mix her feelings with their co-operation.

Eve had to get rid of her feelings for Allan and turn them into a professional attitude. That they were just co-workers. A contract couple. For that she was being paid, Allan was right.

Eve shouldn't take offense at Allan's words because that's the reality. She was just a hired girl. Allan had been very kind to pay for her sister's entire treatment which was even more than it should
