Allan finally looked down and sat cross-legged next to Eve right next to the food that separated them.

I only have your driver's number, but my mobile phone died last night, and I had trouble finding a taxi because the previous taxi I took broke down. So, I'm sorry I got home at midnight because of that. I asked Sam to keep it in the fridge and warmed it up this morning. It's a shame if you don't eat it, it's so good! I've also made garlic bread and there's fries and there's salad and there's jam sandwiches if you want." Eve said as she prepared their picnic.

"What? What did you say?" exclaimed Allan in surprise.

"Oh, I asked Sam to warm up the food you made last night and they helped me prepare al
