Ruth turned again and glanced at Clayton only to catch his eyes already on her. She jerked slightly in her seat, not expecting his gaze. She adjusted her hands on her thigh and exhaled. She looked at her watch and inwardly cursed. She was going to be stuck on the plane with his eyes on her, making the butterflies in her belly come alive.

She prayed inwardly that Greece would somehow move closer. It was going to be one of the hardest trips of her life—having to sit next to a hot-looking man who stirred the dirtiest and most unchaste desires in her. It was definitely something to worry about, especially when she could so easily lean into him and give him a peck on the cheek.

And she wanted to give him that peck. Not like her boring secretary life demanded that she do things like that.
