Chapter 6. Be My Surrogate

Making her way into his office, he sat down on his seat and asked again what the matter was but out of panic, Tiana said,

“I wish to resign from the company.”

“Why, if I may ask?”

There she was stuck and her lips could not utter what the others have been gossiping about but Lewis not wanting to beat about the bush, told her that he would make things very easy for her.

“Is it about the pregnancy?”

“How did you know?” She responded with a question, and Lewis shot out a smile, he answered her,

“I am aware of everything that happens in my company. So, is it a yes?”

Tiana nodded gently in shame, and Lewis, clearing up his throat, out to Tiana as he said,

“I have a proposal for you, and if you are willing to take it, then I will punish all those who have hurt you.”

“What could he possibly want to propose to me?” Her mind is on her and with a faint voice, she asked him to go ahead and say it.
