Chapter 8. Find Tiana

“What do you mean you can’t find her?” Lewis growled on the phone. This was what he feared. “I had asked you to follow her until she got home and now you are telling me she isn’t home, are you insane?”

“Sir- I am doing- all I can to find her,” Clark stuttered as he ran out of the building his heart in his stomach. He didn’t want to lose his job because of some girl.

“Listen, just wait where you are. I am coming to you!” Lewis hissed. He would do the job himself. He couldn’t sit still in his office while a diamond-like Tiana was practically slipping out of his fingers. Letting other people do the job was what got him in the situation in the first place.

Clark was about to add something but Lewis didn’t even give him a chance to say a word.

Lewis ended the call and walked to his secretary’s desk which was right before his office door.
