“You don’t joke around me like that! Do you hear me?” Robert barked. “Now state your business and leave this place instantly—or I will get you arrested!”

But Musa was even more relaxed than before.

He smirked.

Zoey—who hated his guts more than she hated Charlotte—stared at him in disgust.

“What the hell are you smirking at?” she snapped.

Musa looked even more amused.

“Why is everyone so tense? Look, I came to join the dinner, okay?” he said simply. “Charlotte, your daughter, invited me.”

Robert blinked like he misheard. “…Join the—what do you mean Charlotte invited you?”

Musa gestured at the dining table. “Can I sit?”

He sat down confidently.

Robert’s mouth fell open.

Zoey shrieked, “YOU CAN’T JUST—SIT!”

Chloe arched her brows. “Great. Soon Charlotte is going to invite the whole of Africa into our home.”
