Chapter 174. KC Back
CHARLOTTE
I was rushing down when a familiar voice called me.
“Charlotte!”
I turned and saw my mother approaching.
“I was coming to your room. We need to talk, it’s important.”
“I’m sorry,” I said quickly, “but I really can’t talk right now. I have to rush somewhere. Maybe when I get back.”
I didn’t wait to hear her reply and kept rushing outside.
When I reached the parking area, my steps slowed.
Leo wasn’t alone.
Musa stood with him, the two of them chatting like longtime buddies.
I couldn’t hear them to know what they were talking about, so my stomach fluttered nervously.
However, it’s good to see they weren’t fighting but being cool with each other. Knowing that Leo hardly makes friends made me happier.
I just hope Musa is a good person.
Him poking his nose into our business is kind of suspicious.
I am yet to find out what he is doing by showering around me like a hawk.
I walked closer.
