Chapter 107. Cutting Blood Saga: pt. 1

I don’t have enough strength to do this. But, somehow, ‘Zachili’ saving me snapped me back to reality. It’s like a wake-up call.

It’s like my mom saying ‘What are you doing, Oasis?’ from her grave, or dad whispering in his sick bed, ‘Do you miss your mama that much, dearest?’

Either way, now I know they don’t want me to die. Plus, I don’t think I can handle my mom lashing me with her slipper when she finds me in death realm. She would surely beat me back to life and that would be… TRAUMA! A life-long one!

When Mellow and I had crawled clear of the sitting room, she takes me back to the basement, leading me through a path that brings us to an underground railway, where we keep running.

I, myself, had lost the strength to even walk a while back when I first stepped into the railway. It was only my sudden will to leave that has brought me this far.
