“Ms. Crawley…you don’t have to say anything you don’t want…but you have to understand as a doctor I need to know,” Maverick said as prepared for scanning. He gave Alexis some privacy by not asking too many personal questions but as a doctor, he had the right to know about his patients. She grew afraid when he asked her what happened in the past or if any doctor ever found a solution to her problem.

“It’s best this way…” she said and shifted her gaze away from her and waited for Maverick to do as he wanted.

He insisted on checking her abdomen to see if there was any problem. She let him touch her exposed tummy, not sure what he was doing and when he applied the cold jelly. Alexis sucked in her tummy feeling the coldness spread everywhere.

Her eyes closed ignoring the tickling sensation she was feeling from her tummy and abdomen area being rubbed in circles and getting to enough to make her doze off. Maverick was stunned as he
