Victor was worried about Vivie. He was close to conquering her with Skylar’s help but after she came back inside, she was a completely different person. She was ignoring him even when he was standing right before her while she dressed Skylar and did her hair. He watched her closely and he was impressed with her. She was young, full of life but mature. She wasn’t Skylar’s biological mother but the way she was talking to her and coaxing her to listen to her made him smile.

“Should I use this or this one because it’s white and pretty?” she said, showing Skylar the ribbons in her hands startling Victor who fixed his eyes on Skylar. His little daughter was nodding and shaking her head a little. They both look cute together
