Maverick paced back and forth in front of Victor, he couldn’t describe the anger he felt when the man cut short his honeymoon

“At least admit I’m not like you,” Maverick said bitterly, he stopped pacing and stood in front of Victor. The man didn’t even seem to pay attention to him for her was busy doing his work

“You already had a week… what more do you want,” Victor said nonchalantly. He gave Maverick enough time to enjoy his wife. A week of a good honeymoon.

“My wife deserves a month of honeymoon… but you… I’m sure you are jealous,” Maverick said with a glare. He thought of adding another week to their honeymoon. Unfortunately, Victor called him back just when things were about to get interesting. His wife was happy so was he

“The hospital needs you… or you don’t want your job anymore?” Victor asked and slowly lifted his head to look at Maverick
