Darius’s POV

The Salvatore clan mansion stood tall, just like it had centuries ago. There had been some adjustments here and there, but it was still the same gigantic that housed about twenty families. The twenty families that made up the Salvatore clan.

Although everyone who bears the Salvatore last name is greatly worshiped by the outsiders, it’s not the same case beyond the castle’s gate. Everyone has their ranking, and respect is accorded according to that ranking. The most respected are the clan elder and his family. The clan elder rules for a thousand years if he can survive that long before he vacates the position.
