Chapter 7
Fallon’s POV
[Flashback]
“One day, you are going to be a great and beautiful woman, Fallon Makler. That’s why we named you Fallon. A strong name for a strong baby.”
Seven years old, I woke up with a fright. Then I sighed and relaxed back on the bed. It was the same old dream. The voice is always soft and comforting, but I never see the face behind it. And I frankly don’t remember much of the dream, just the name Fallon Makler.
We were running, all of us wearing the same uniform with our hair cut short.
The girl beside me fell and let out a yelp of pain. The rest continued running while I helped her up.
Then a loud buzz blasted from the speakers, and then a voice.
“Number Fifteen and Number Nine, stop.”
I tensed and shivered at the mention of my name. When the guards came for us immediately, I felt my fear spike to another level.
We were separated and taken to different rooms.
“Come.” I obeyed the woman’s instruction.
