Darius’s POV
Surely I must have been hallucinating. That could be the only logical reason why I was seeing a ghost in front of me. But the more I looked, the more obvious it became that what I was seeing was real.
Every doubt I had disappeared into thin air when Nathan Valentine appeared from nowhere, his hands sliding to her waist with a grin on his face.
I almost stumbled back in shock. This woman, the very woman I mourned, the woman for whom I burned people, was alive and in the arms of my enemy.
“Darius,” I heard him say in acknowledgment.
“Nathan,” I answered in a sharp tone.
