“I can do that,” Pierre said as he leaned in.

The press of Pierre’s lips was soft and coppery. Antoine didn’t mind it at all that he was with a vampire again, now that he had accepted that Pierre had changed and there was no going back to what they had before. When he pulled apart after several chaste, heartwarming kisses, Pierre leaned back in for more.

“Because this moment is so nice,” he explained.

Antoine wouldn’t argue, so he leaned forward to meet their lips together again. This time, he licked Pierre’s bottom lip and slipped his tongue into his lover’s mouth. They entwined tongues, and Antoine nicked Pierre’s fang on his tongue, and Pierre enjoyed the taste of his lover’s essence. After they had absorbed all the blood, they kissed a final time.
