Chapter 18
“Robert,” a voice called out softly to him. He looked up as he wondered who called. The voice was tender and loving but bold enough to shake him up.
He sat upon his bed, his eyes scanning the dim room as a candle gave him light, his body endowed with so much guilt.
“Robert,” the voice called out softly again, soft and gentle this time as its sound brought pleasure to his ears.
He surveyed around again, his body so tense that his eyes flickered around the dark room so difficult to see through.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps approaching him as he lay on the bed. Robert narrowed his eyes as he stirred to see the figure approaching him. A cold sensation suddenly filled his room as an unimaginable wonderful fragrance compressed his room, that scent that he felt deep in the woods.
