Chapter 55. Car Accident

Alexa, while waiting for Lexie, had cooled what she had cooked, so she heated it again, but when she tasted what she had cooked, she wondered why it had no taste.

Her forehead furrowed. “Why no taste?” Then she looked at the bag of salt. She was just slapped on the forehead. “I forgot the salt case. There’s no stock here. It looks like I need to go out and buy it. I still need to walk for a few minutes.” She had just shaken her head. She made sure to put out the fire before she went out. She put a cloth on her head because it was hot outside.

Meanwhile, Jack is close to the place where Alexa lives. His cell phone rang, but his eyes were rolling around the road. His phone rang several times, so he was forced to take his phone out of the passenger seat, but he was having a hard time. He tried to reach for the cell phone while still looking at the road, but for a few seconds, as he turned his gaze to the phone he was holding now, Jack suddenly sank into the steering wheel.<
